Excite, like portal competitor Yahoo, does not charge listing or transaction fees for its classified or auction services. However, sellers will pay a fee to Billpoint for using its services. The fee will be a percentage of the transaction value. Depending on the "percentage", Checkfree may bring more value to the table: cheaper for buyer, faster payment to seller. With this new person-to-person credit card I wonder how long it takes to settle actual payment to seller? Erik
