of a win which proves that the posts by the posters we fabricated, be enough to even cover the cost of the lidigation (Legal Expenses)?

It proves that that the company is a legal business... or at least makes it known that statements made by a given idividual were false.. and only made to be malicious and derogatory to the company.

In other words. It protects the companies reputation, and good name, they have a name for it in accounting GoodWill. (which does carry a value to the company)

Does Janice and them have deep pockets or something?

I dont know?? do you?

How is it going to look if they lose?

thats depends on a vast number of senarios.. If the defendent claimed the company was a scam.. and indeed it was.. then shareholders would be better off to know this before they plunk more money into said company...

You can;t sue someone for their opinion unless the underlying basis is a deliberate intent which establishes a motive?

and thats why we have lawyers.. to prove malicious intent, and for jurors or a judge to agree..
