Frank, Michael Dell sells quarterly like clockwork. This indicates no lack of faith and the street is well aware of it. Us longer term investors are aware of it too.

Michael Dell has never sold any of his own shares. His ownership remains fixed at ~14% or 365M shares. What he does sell are the options granted as part of his executive pay package.

How long have you held Dell? I would assume from the anger in your posts you bought in within the year above $40 and are a little on the downside. If you bought over a year ago, youd be in the black and $37/shr should not produce the kind of rage you exhibit.

Are you a long term investor?

Re: we are not getting any clear perception as to where this company is going forward.

This is becoming one of my pet peeves. Many of Dell's strategies and future visions are crystal clear. Quite a few are outlined at www.dell.com if you care to do the research. Relying only on the press to communicate snippets of these visions through Yahoo is a tad lazy. Are Microsoft's and Intel's strategy that much clearer than Dell's? Can you outline some of their key initiatives and revenue growth drivers for 2000 and beyond?

Anyway, show Mr. Dell a little respect. Cussing and derogatory names directed at the man is in bad form.
