MM:

This one reminds me of "trash talk". (g)

Uh, Mr Intel promotion man, how about a few comments about the problems Intel is having with .18 before jiving us with this .13 borsch. Is it not a fact that the problems with your .18 process are what is causing these interminable delays in a certain new micro that just can't seem to get out the door? And uh, perhaps you might wish to tell us what you intend to do this year when the K7 arrives. INTC doesn't have anything like it until year 2000 you say?,.... and perhaps AMD will drop the ball? Good luck. And one more question sir,...who the heck is going to buy all these new fast micros when there is a glut in today's offerings? And at what prices? Will you guys still be pricing micros in dollars by the time that new fab sees the light of day, or will you be bartering bags of them for for happy meals?

MM, that guy is from the "planning for the year 2050" committee and you know how they work. (g)

Meantime, back here on Earth and back here in 1999,

"Intel warns that Q2 results will be in the lower portion of the expectation range"

Best, Earlie
