Mohan: One final post (I think I have put enough out here for now... we are already on SI's Hot list -- even above EELN's partner YHOO <G>). I just picked this up from Newsweek.com's new cover story (from the July 5th issue). I think you get an idea about the kind of talent E-Loan has attracted. The new head of Marketing and Business Development calls E-Loan an "out-of-the-ballpark opportunity." To me that could be true for employees and for early investors. This company is full of potential. Now keep Alan Greenspan and his boys in line -- we need some nice rates for the next year <G>. Here's the excerpt from the Newsweek article...

<<Joe Kennedy, the executive credited with much of the success of Saturn cars, recently quit GM after 18 years to join E-loan as its head of marketing. He says he had the best job in corporate America at Saturn, and that with a $500,000-a-year salary his financial goals would have been met. But Kennedy took a pay cut in return for a sizable equity stake in E-loan and a bigger potential payoff. "People used to say, 'Is it a good company? What's the pay, the benefits?' In this new economy, there is much more focus on whether the company is going to be really successful, an out-of-the-ballpark opportunity.''>>

**This quote is also on page 41 of the hard copy of the new issue of Newsweek.
