I am currently using the 1mb Zenith Homeworks cable modems. I have been a beta tester for the service from Cablevision of Long Island since 10/95. The beta program will be ending shortly and they will be replacing the Zenith modem with a 10mb model from LanCity. The service will cost $45 per month for unlimited usage with a $50 installation fee. I am very happy with the response from the 1mb modem(immediate connection, never a busy signal). I will pay the monthly premium for the convenience and speed of the service ($45 vs $20).
