Well here is something I would not have guessed in a million years, the latest short interest figures:

INPR Inprise Corporation
06/99 3,913,419
05/99 2,503,698
04/99 3,548,231
03/99 3,456,029
02/99 3,448,495
01/99 3,246,300

An absolutely huge increase in the short interest to the highest level I have ever seen. This is setting up to be a major battle. If the shorts are wrong, the covering spike could be breathtaking. I'm concerned about this much of an increase after good news and an upward movement in this stock. I'm out of the long position and now neutral again. I just don't agree with the short argument this time around, but this is nearly 10% of the float now short. When that happens, it is generally bad for a stock.
