<<America Online is expected to join similar marketing deals with other PC makers, and was reported to be in talks with Seattle-based Microworkz, maker of a $199 computer. Dukker said ''this is not an exclusive arrangement -- we expect AOL to do other deals with other PC makers.''>>

Drew: AOL seems to venture into customer service crisis situations....eg. market too heavily and not have the network to effectively support the traffic. Now they want to give customers a bargain based PC/whatever. They better hope it performs well -- IMO, their brand equity is on the line if they are helping to market and distribute these wonderful machines....Maybe they'll frustrate customers SO MUCH that it will really boost consumer sales of QUALITY PCs (sold by DELL and Gateway)..<G>!!

Best Regards,

Scott
