TB:" buy-on-close "

Following the BerneyPrinciple {grin} I had a large position in a big old turtle named WMT going into yesterday. I heard on the empTeeVee that there was a large number of "buy-on-close" orders, and the RLX.X bellwether / DJIA component WMT was bound to be one of them. I waited and waited, finally pulled the trigger to sell with about 4 minutes to go on the MickeyMouse watch used here at the Gonzo household for critical timing {grin} but, it must have spiked another 3/4 point after I got out of my original 43-1/4 position. WTH, Berney, a +10% profit realized as "free" WMT shares in the IRA (^_^)

Didn't fare so well in T. Got out with a dividend (which will be realized as a DRIP) and +3/4 point kapital gain in the CORE. I had puffed up that position (using margin) to capture the DRIP, then bail out on the Record Date, back to my original CORE holding level.

So, my trading accounts/activities are all flat again.

Have you noticed that, when the NF.X - Financials sector bounces (on news or Fed or something) that the "blue chip internets" also bounce ?

I'm a bit concerned about the price of oil...
