I never put much stock in the put/call ratio. There are too many hedgers
taking positions that have little relationship to straight trades and, of course, you can
create calls using puts and create puts using calls, so I think the correlation with
market moves is more an accident than a correlation.


Michael, I just try to use them as a warning sign when they get to extremes. Thanks for that.
