Agree with your comment about smoothing out revenue swings, which is why it is of great interest to the investor to figure out the revenue implications of a subscription model. Which gets me back to my original point in the message to Mike: what's this going to do to Brock's (paltry) revenue stream? I find it curious that no self-described "investor" on this thread wants to engage in that discussion.
