David,

<<Have you checked out ibm.net?>>

I started looking into them yesterday since they do have a local number here. Unfortunately, they currently only support up to 33.6k (which itself is better than my current Netcom account which only support 28.8k). IBM does plan on rolling out x2 but I haven't been able to get them to tell me how soon. I also found another statewide ISP that will be offering x2 support in my location starting May 1st. I'm going to Florida for a week tomorrow so when I get back there shouldn't be much longer for me to wait. There are going to be a lot of customers leaving their current ISP's to join new ISP's that support x2. It seems like the momentum is buidling. IMO, x2 is going to be a great opportunity for some of the smaller ISP's to take market share away from some of the bigger ones such as Netcom who are dragging their feet with respect to x2 support.
