Jeffrey Applegate, a representative of Lehman Brothers, was Interviewed on CNBC today, and here is what he said about their placement of KLAC on their List of Uncommon Values:

Sydnie Kohara: "KLA-Tencor Corporation - KLAC - This is the particular company that [is] the world's largest maker of tools that actually identify defects on computer parts, right?"

Jeffrey Applegate: "Right. Basically, they're really the dominant supplier of inspection tools for the semiconductor industry, and if you think about where we are with that industry, we're now moving to the next generation of semiconductors, both copper semiconductors, as well as the sub 0.25 micron semiconductors, so there's going to be a lot of testing -- a lot of inspection -- and we think KLA-Tencor's business should ramp up pretty nicely."
