first off, you went 1000 shares short at 7 3/8
and said that you continued to add at 8 1/4

by my calculations, you would have had to be at LEAST
3000 shares short to have averaged out at 8.45 as you said
in your post. and that would be the best case scenario
assuming that you shorting at $9.

you said you covered at 8 5/8 (8.625)

that means that you lost .175 for every share you were short.

i estimate your loss to be much more than $500 in the
best case scenario.

but dont let the facts get in the way of your posting
