Hi Jacalyn, I see I have much too less international experience to confer on those points with you. Maybe I am kind of old-fashioned, for me most spots in Europe are already FAR (including France, Greece, Netherlands) away. Although I have been in all those countries once, I did not notice a big difference among them in (pro/anti-)americanism - no wonder, as I wasn't so much interested. Differences of (pro/anti)-German behaviour in public could sometimes be felt. In one case I saw anti-Dutch behaviour in England, but that is a different story.
ANYWAY there has never been a need to give this comment: When you get your internal problems fixed up, maybe then I can listen to some of your recommendations to solve any american problems., as I have never made any suggestions on how to solve american problems, or tried to point out such problems. I think in future I should still be allowed to humbly ask on your views on american culture, politics, maybe problems. On the other hand I tend to listen to suggestions also from people who have not yet solved all of their own problems and so remain in a state of some imperfectness.
Regards, MNI. |
