GoTo.com Teams With Netscape as Premier Search Provider for Popular Netscape Net Search Program PASADENA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 1, 1999--GoTo.com (NASDAQ: GOTO - news) today announced the signing of an agreement with Netscape Communications, a subsidiary of America Online, Inc. (NYSE: AOL - news) to become a leading search provider for Netscape's popular Netscape® Net Search program. GoTo.com is an online marketplace that pioneered the ''pay for performance'' model where Web sites bid for placement on a list of GoTo.com search results.
GoTo.com's relevant, rich search results will be accessible to the millions of visitors to Netscape's Netcenter as well as to users of Netscape Communicator® browser software, where GoTo will be a search bookmark.
