Ampex book value is minus 2.05 per share. You forgot the negitive equity caused by their responsibility to pay pension of former employes when they sold their audio/tape division last year. Not to worry they are only responsible if the present owner (can't remember the company) of this division cannot pay. IMO I suspect we will see some real strong support before we reach the book value. Kinda make's you wonder about valuing a company by book value. Really doesn't have much to do with anything except to keep auditor's happy!
