You seem to not want to respond to my posts, perhaps I was overly insulting in a previous post. So I will tell you why I asked if you had ever lived in a foreign country. I have lived in several different countries, the longest period being 3 years in Peru. While there Peruvian people called me Carlos, not Charles or Chuck, which would have been difficult for the Peruvian tongue. I liked being called Carlos!

My point is that it is easy to assimilate and enjoyable to do so. It is my belief that most new arrivals to this country are eager to americanize, but it is the operatives on the left who continue to bang the drum for us to adopt our ways to accommodate newcomers.
