It doesn't matter what SV does Bill. My point is that Doerr is on my side and a lot of people think hes the top. Statewide Bush will lose unless he rescinds his pro-life stance publicly (which he may do, I'm not ruling it out). Bush and Gore are 10 pts way from each other out here and the "Bush is pro-life" ads haven't even started up yet. Bush doesn't need to carry California to win (and he probably won't) but you conservatives have to quit sweeping the hard-line right under the rug... the ten commandments really pissed a lot of people off out here. You've been to the milpitas outlet mall haven't you? (its all there is in milpitas) look around... how many milpitas residents are Christians would you guess? And of course the real question for the right is - why stir up these issues when you know they are going to be knocked down by the supreme court anyway? Talk about lame! If you are going to anger large groups of people at least do it for something worthwhile.
