The recent PR seems to give a misimpression when it states: "delSECUR is also pleased to announce that it has been invited to become a member of the Biometric Consortium of the National Institute of Standards and Technology of the US Department of Commerce. Mr. Pierre de Lanauze, delSECUR President and CEO, stated, 'The invitation to join the Biometric Consortium is an important recognition of the del-ID(R) technology and will be a major step forward in its commercialization.'" As a matter of fact, a company does not have to be "invited to join" the Biometric Consortium. All you have to do is show up and make a presentation on your technology or product and you are in. Their press release made it sound like they are in some sort of exclusive club.
