Not on the cable-modem end of things. If AOL were to become an ISP on Charter systems, then all of the default settings would be to AOL sites. A GNET site would be just another destination on the internet for such Charter-AOL users.

Even if AOL were the ISP for computer users, it's still possible -- even likely -- that GNET channels would become default locations for interactive TV users. That's likely to become an important market, but it doesn't benefit at all from having AOL on the system over on the cable modem side.
