Hello Mr. Wexler:

It looks like CCSI has money leaving it yet in the very near term trend. While I cannot predict price targets well, it may continue below 8.
CCSI will have to report results next quarter, which should be telling. The only trick I can imagine is some switch of inventories to Ohmeda and then another quarter to see what that resulted in. Or possibly some incredible tale of things going awry and needing fixing again to continue the saga.

With the stock under distribution, some profits are worth taking. But methinks CCSI is closer to being rationalized in the next few months than it ever has been. Ohmeda is a going concern and hopefully is less inclined to coordinate in obscuring results. On the other hand, CCSI is not material to Ohmeda, so it may not be worth their bother to shed light on CCSI. I am sure Ohmeda does not disclose product line results, only consolidated results.

I intend to wait a few days and watch the distribution phase continue to its ebb. My GTC cover for part of my short position remains at 5-3/16 as a low side box. It has been long enough on my patience to consider changing to 6's or 7's depending on how the distribution continues. I expect at most one, possibly two more rises of unknown extent and then CCSI should rationalize to what their operations support. I expect CCSI to emerge as the 'walking dead' from the current situation. It is time. No guarantees, though. CCSI may be able to pull off some other story. That they have demonstrated historically. My instincts indicate not though, this time.
Best regards,
m
