Stew:

Appreciate the info on essf. After investigation, I bought in several days ago.

Now back to old thoughts. We had looked at CTZ (chicago title) a ways back. I had hoped the spinoff might be in the 500mill cap range. But came in at the >1.0 bill range (which is unjustifiably high imo) At any rate, it has come down since offering and at its current 700mil cap is bearing further examination. still would like to get it in the 500-600 mill cap (high 20's share price) I realize with higher interest rates, outlook for industry is unfavorable but may be worth a look as it approaches low 30's. Any thoughts?

I have been examining companies and havent run into anything that has caught my interest of late. My concern about the overall level of the market keeps me focused on value plays with a good degree of safety. You have anything you can recommend I look at ?

thanks
