Ry, I see that I didn't make myself clear. In addition to their laying fiber across the pond in a number of cities, and creating their own "lit" networks (which is what I assumed their releases referred to), my question had to do with their plans to sell "unlit" fiber to end users and startup SPs, similar to what they do here. I've been aware of their larger plans in Europe, but not the details of their dark fiber strategy, which I would imagine would cause agita in the minds of many local government-run PTTs there. Pending deregulations, notwithstanding.

If there is a breakdown of their (MFNX's or any other carrier's) modes of delivery (dark versus lit) that anyone is aware of, or any further information in this area at all, even if only in a more gereal sense, I'd appreciate hearing about it.

Regards, Frank Coluccio
