Stuff like: I put in a buy order (usually 1K) - price at the ask. The damn thing trades there for 3 minutes w/ one MM - I'm not getting hit. Cool. But what is NOT cool, is that I see ISLD pop up on the ask, unload shares at MY buy price, disappear. Meanwhile, I don't get one single share. Maybe the MM took my order and sat on it? Without even giving me the benefit of his size (he was advertising 10) - usually at least you get a symbolic 100 shares... anyway, all day like this, yesterday as well. Many other funky stuff, like my order not appearing on the ISLD book, even though there were other orders at my price there (and of course no execution). I complained yesterday, some guy took my call, said he can't check on what happened, because the system was down - was supposed to call me back. Of course, no call-back. I'm completely disgusted w/ Datek. The one thing they had going for them were executions. Now this. I'm going to take a break from trading w/ Datek - on to my other brokers. Morgan
