William -- How is AMZN vulnerable? Vulnerable to a growing array of competitors as they lose focus and end up being in competition with everybody instead of just Barnes. Vulnerable to widening losses as their 'marketing' costs mount even as their marketing efforts become less and less effective. Vulnerable to entirely new forms of fulfillment that leave them holding the bag with expensive fixed assets in competition with companies that focus ONLY on fulfillment. Vulnerable to the dilution of the first mover advantage with each passing day. Vulnerable to more focused companies like BAMM getting a lucky break because Walmart wants them instead of AMZN because AMZN drifted outside of their bookselling 'space' and into Walmart's face. Vulnerable to the catalogue companies as e-commerce becomes worth going after to actually make money. Vulnerable to the realization that ecommerce is one of the first but not necessarily the most important end of the internet business space. Vulnerable to a weak balance sheet and a risky capital structure in a market that might not want to provide them with more 'growth' capital to blow on 'marketing' costs and acquistion of money losing companies. Vulnerable to momentum investors getting fed up and moving on as the stock price drifts while the others show more upside. Shall I go on?
