I finally found the exact quote (not in any reference source) Winston Churchill concerning Russia "a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma" Another couple of good Churchill quotes "The empire of the future will be the empire of the mind" "Men occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing ever happened" ---so true, and something that as investors we must constantly guard against. IBM sales of thin client hardware is doubling every quarter according to the networkcomputing.com story. Since most of the alternatives are more talk than real systems, most of this should be going to CTXS. This is hyper growth by GG standards. Has CTXS crossed the chasm? Question--- how is a thin client machine on the client end different than a stripped down PC, presumably avoiding options like floppy disks that users can use to screw up the system? Do the economies of scale of PC apply here? Yes, I know that you can use a cheap PC as a client, but what is the difference between that and what Wyse is offering?
