Gidday RS, you are quite right that it is not till September that we have anything to sell, but AirTouch is selling right now. They are doing a bad job. Notice that Valueman didn't order a phone from them. He got a big fright and thought he might sell his shares instead. That is NOT a good result from AirTouch's attempt at getting a customer. Having a really cool 'dial SATPHONE' line is nice, but the content of what they say when you dial it is more important. Anyone who dials is going to be unsold. They will then have to be 'resold' later, which will be a LOT harder than getting it right first time. If Valueman had been sold right he'd have ordered a phone: "Congratulations Valueman on being fast on your feet. Your early call entitles you to one of the first handsets off the production line and your first year free. Handsets are expensive because of huge demand - $2000, so you'll need to pay a deposit now to be sure of getting one and getting your year of free Globalstar minutes. You can lease a handset from us for $200 a month. Keep in mind that you need to check the coverage map to ensure you can use it where you want to. All the USA is covered and most of the rest of the populated world. The Globalstar part only works outdoors or with a car kit, otherwise it will work on your normal wireless service. Blah, blah, blah." I bet he didn't order a phone. They are setting the price now for retail buyers. Sure, they could do it later, but why wait. Get the information out there now. But get it right. What's MSRP? Retail price? Recommended Price? This stage of the game is getting very close to the main part of the game. Fumbling and stumbling now is not good. Maurice
