Heartsoft Unveils Ability to Detect and Intercept
Pornographic Images on the Internet

Proprietary Image Analysis and Detection Technology to Have Widespread Industry
Application

TULSA, Okla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 18, 1999-- Heartsoft, Inc. (OTC BB:HTSF - news), publisher of advanced
educational technology products, announced today that it has developed the ability to detect pornographic images transmitted
over the Internet.

Utilizing advanced image processing and analysis technology originally developed by the U.S. military for the Strategic
Defensive Initiative or Star Wars Program, the new image detection capability allows significantly increased protection from
Internet-based pornography by corporate, educational, and home users.

''The new technology, code named 'Gauntlet' during its development, was created to significantly improve the level of Internet
protection in Heartsoft's new secure Internet browser for children over stand-alone 'text-based' content filters and browsers
currently employed within the industry. We are currently conducting automated web-bot testing of the security features of the
new browser and we are seeing an unprecedented accuracy rate of 99.6% once the image detection capability has been added,''
said Benjamin P. Shell, Heartsoft chairman and chief executive officer.

''Incorporating the pornographic image detection capabilities afforded Heartsoft by this new technology, we expect our secure
browser to be vastly superior to other Internet content filtering or blocking products on the market.

''Once licensed from Heartsoft, this new image processing and analysis technology can be easily incorporated by other Internet
application developers or Internet Providers (ISPs) who offer filtered access to the Internet to churches, schools, and parents.''

The company expects its secure Internet browser for children incorporating this new image detection technology to be available
later this summer.

The new browser will be available for both the home and the school and will operate on both Microsoft (Nasdaq:MSFT - news)
Windows 95/98® and Apple (Nasdaq:AAPL - news) iMac® and Macintosh® platforms.

Heartsoft's much anticipated secure browser offers parents and educators a secure and safe alternative to Microsoft's Internet
Explorer and Netscape's (NYSE:AOL - news) Navigator Internet browsers.

Heartsoft's support of Microsoft Windows 98 significantly expands the company's ability to support hardware manufacturers
such as Dell Computer Corp. (Nasdaq:DELL - news), Compaq Computer Corp. (NYSE:CPQ - news), and Hewlett-Packard
(NYSE:HWP - news), which represent the most widely used platforms in schools and by parents.
