I also believe that institutional customers are the main market for G*, at least in the first year or two. It's a minority view, but I've felt there's enough demand there alone to consume all of G*s 1st Generation capacity. The great thing about that market: once the phones are distributed, the person making the call will often know or care very little about the per minute cost.

The buyers will of course compete G* vs IRID on basis of cost, quality, reliability, coverage, etc.
