White Knight, you are obviously not an oilpatch veteran. Grayhairs has a lifetime of petroleum engineering experience and I have 7 years geological experience, directly involved in the search for oil and gas.

Firstly, I would like to correct you, by saying that I am not a TRIL basher. I was trying to apply a little technical knowledge to the June 22 press release, for everyone's benefit, but have discovered that nobody cares to listen. That is fine. I have no agenda here.

Do you know what a "wildcat exploration play" is?
Believe me, project Ekho is one. So was ELH, but it is not anymore.

I am very interested in learning more about these three deep wells drilled "in the vicinity" of Ekho. I am not being facetious here - I am serious. I could not find anything on the Tri-Valley website. Any information you can provide would be appreciated. You can PM me and I will be happy to give you my email address.
Were any of these wells drilled into the Ekho structure?

I do not intend to turn this into a pissing contest between ELH and Ekho supporters. Life is too short for such lunacy.

I do agree with you that the more attention brought to the SJ Basin's deep plays, the better.

Respectfully,
S&P
