I bought FFS initially in January of 1994 on JD's recommendation at 17 3/4, bought more at 12 3/4 and 10 1/4 as he continued to push it. Bought more at 5 15/16, 5 1/8, 2 3/16, and 3 1/2 on my own belief that in the long run it would come back. I have had a lot of clients with large (for individuals) timber holdings and it is amazing how much the price of timber has risen since the first timber client I worked on in 1960. Fortunately, I don't have a huge loss (now a relatively small one) since my buys in the 2s, 3s and 5s were in larger blocks. I plan, like you, to hang on for the long run.

Good luck to all of us that held on.
