FYO, RE: "With AMD's announced pricing, ..." The first lesson in PC buying is to never backorder or preorder anything (it will ALWAYS be cheaper to order it later). If history repeats itself, AMD's preannouncement K7 prices and those listed at www.pricewatch.com will be cut in half by the time unit one actually hits the streets. After another month or two, they will halve again. You can bet on this like betting that the sun will rise again tommorrow morning. Craig
