From an SSB news summary note today... ++++++++ Mattson and CFM Collaborate to Develop Cleaning Solutions - Mattson and CFM Technologies will jointly develop dry and wet cleaning solutions, focusing on developing an integrated cleaning solution. Process integration is the need to of the day, whether it be the front-end metallization or the strip and clean processes. Gasonics has its own unique approach with its Integrated Clean technology to approach the same end result and the two leaders in stripping are angling to offer semiconductor companies an end-to-end solution. We estimate Gasonics currently has a 29% market share while Mattson has a 27% share.
