Wouldn't the company face liability for dilution of the shareholder's interest if the warrants were extended and eventually converted to new shares? Couldn't a shareholder legitimately claim that the warrant holders made a choice involving a calculated risk for a potentially greater reward and lost the bet -- that reviving the worthless warrants would violate the fiduciary duty owed to the shareholders?
