Thanks for the well-described margin requirements on the CMGI triple-play. Two things regarding OLDE are somewhat different than what you show.

First, their margin requirement for CMGI is %75, and I suspect it may go to %100.

Second, they do not add the subtraction of the "out-of-the-money" amount. That would make sense to me. I will check with my broker as he may be doing it incorrectly. I usually have to call them and let them know when their calculations are wrong anyway.

Unfortunately I know this because I have received margin calls on AOL naked puts and writing CMGI put spreads, when their stocks were soaring. Luckily I do not use much margin, so my excess cash took care of most of it. But I did have to maneuver a little bit.

I will check with OLDE. It makes a lot more sense the way you described it.
