If EGRP continues the pattern of doling out 25 shares per customer, in the long run revenues from trades will be up (they collect commission when the person sells)...

Actually, they haven't started this pattern. It turned out that the 25 share allocations were for the affinity group (and were automatically given) -- they actually gave 50 shares in this case. The general IPO allocation was still 100 shares.
