CHINA INVESTORS STEAM UP A report in a Chinese newspaper this week highlighted the dangers of elderly Chinese investors overheating during the summer months while watching their stocks rise. As Chinese stocks hit record highs this week and temperatures in Beijing averaged 38.3 degrees Celsius, the Beijing Morning Post reported that elderly investors have been monitoring their investments in poorly air-conditioned rooms. "Elderly stock investors with health problems should watch their health during the current heatwave," the newspaper quoted district hospital doctor Wang Peiyang as saying.
