Yes, I normally have 30 - 50 stocks in my portfolio. My goal is to have a 3% - 5% gain each month. My own experience told me that I can't only focus on 3 - 5 best stocks. Because one surpaise will ruin my game plan. I am not saying this is a good way, but seems it works for me. I feel you handle your investment more like Warren Buffett.
