Anyway, he was supposed to be rehearsing "Turandot" in the course of the film, and so I have seen a cinematic rendition of the scene you describe. It is a splendid aria... ...There are only two areas in which I have ever wanted to live (I am too American to really want to live overseas). I live in one of them, and you live in the other. We have a positive obligation to take some advantage of our good fortune, for example, by not missing major retrospectives unless it is practically unavoidable. And also to eat well on a regular basis:-)....
