This is the only information I have ever seen regarding the lawsuit. corporate-ir.net I don't think the lawsuit is great publicity because nobody has heard about it. I think the best publicity right now for goto are the 80,000 affiliates (like myself) who do backflips to promote our sites... if someone's going to put a goto search engine on a site, then they're trying to make money from that site. So I go tell my friends "come to Fred's place to buy your books/flowers/plane tickets/etc." or "I heard you're buying a car, check out my site." I do all that constantly to build traffic to my site. I even have an ad for Fred's place in my .signature in my email. Meanwhile, what little yellow box is front and center on the home page? A goto search engine. Even if they don't use the search engine, it's still mindshare, and Goto is paying a great deal less for that publicity than ASKJ does for their tv or radio ads. -Mike
