Index funds? I thought you were a great penny stock picker. Can't you pick stocks represented by real businesses? Talk about an oxymoron - why would ANYONE who buys penny stocks buy index funds when if they use even average common sense they can easily beat the averages? You take extreme gambling-like risks with tmmi but you don't trust your own judgment to pick individual stocks in your 401k? If you weren't so stubborn, I could teach you a thing or two about investing that would pay you huge gains in the future. You need to do two things: 1. Read "Trading For A Living," by Dr. Alexander Elder, and, 2. Figure out what he means and then do it. Now you can write me off as you have done since you've been on this thread or you can pay attention to some SOLID advice. It's your choice and I expect you'll choose the former. Frankly, I don't care but can ANYONE believe that a penny stock gambler would put the bulk of his money in index funds? Arnie
