Michael - This is an illustration on how patience is the key to make $$$ in the market. The CEO story followed by a strategic alliance that happened at Borland is being replayed today at Novell. I always knew, in spite of all contrary appearances that, with BORL and NOVL I am holding winners. Although I am strong believer in holding longtime, I have been trading half my position in CYBE and BORL, but not in NOVL as I didn't have big enough a position to do so. Recently, however, as NOVL plunged to 8 1/2, I sold the chunk of BORL which I first bought at 5, sold over 8, then bought back at 6. I transfered the proceeds into NOVL. It wasn't one day too soon. The next day, a new CEO eas announced at Novell. Today, a strategic alliance between Novell and Netscape is going to be announced. If BORL has a dip of say one point and NOVL goes up, say one or two points, I will shift back into BORL. In the meantime. I still have my core position in BORL intact (average cost 8). GO BORL and GO NOVL. Ghassan. P.S. I think there is a great buying opportunity, thanks to Uncle Alan, going on at CYBE which hit 21 5/8 two weeks ago and now at mid 14.
