Hello sports fans! A new sportscaster, Beeper Plus, distributes timely sports
information through alphanumeric pagers. Developed by professional gamblers,
The Sports Page service updates customers on scores, sports news and betting
odds. Beeper Plus collects information from casinos and three wire services
and then transmits it nationwide and in the Carribbean via Satellite uplink.
Another service, The Front Page, transmits general information including
news, weather, and business reports. Beeper Plus sells its services through
the main office and distributors. Investment firm Maven Enterprises' 46%
stake is in receivership because of securities law violations by Rodd Buckle,

With football season around the corner and online gambling growing at an
enormous rate, this bit of technology is awesome and a "must have" to the
avid sports gambler. If you do not think there is a market for sports
gambling think again. Almost every work place has a football pool or NCAA
tornament pool plus all those folks that stay home, or in their dorm room or
go to bars to watch football all Sunday long. I am going out on a limb by
saying almost every male 16 yrs and up that follows sports at all...has bet
on a football game. Even if it was a cup of coffee...it was a bet. Football
is huge for sports gambling and I think with technology growing as much as it
has and with beepers and cell phones already in every household...why not a
sports beeper. I have seen ads in my newspaper selling them before...little
did I know they were only .07 cents a share!-Merlin
