Seems to me the problem is stereotypes, don't you think? I've heard all sorts of stories about how badly the mine employees are treated in the diamond mines, how coal miners all are forced to work until they die of black lung disease, and little oriental kids work their fingers to the bone making Nike sneakers. Enough truth to make a story, but mostly crap when investigated. Like my NRA. We're all good people, but you'd never know it to listen to the media. Part of the joy in living in a rich, liberal society, IMO. jim
