OFF TOPIC...
Hello Vaughn...
Since we know that CNB has never been much to promote..
highlights of a news release that will confirm those grades....
<<Historical production from the Property is unknown, however published reports together with work completed by Canabrava have indicated grades of the terrace and old river channel gravels varying from 0.15 to 0.30 carats per cubic metre. One bulk sample taken in an active river trap returned 3.0 carats per cubic metre. Average stone size is 0.3 to 0.5 points and the largest recovered stone reported to be 18 carats. Historical values of Rio do Sono diamonds is U.S. $140 per carat. Work will begin immediately.>>
As I have stated these samples were taken in the river delta far from kimberlite source, the area we are starting in will most likely be higher in grade than the delta considering the some of the pipes
that feed the river are in the immediate proximity......I would suggest that we will know in the next couple of weeks....that would pretty well tell the story for SUF/CNB claims with one exception..the SUF/CNB claims are known for the large colored fancies have been found. I know of 60 diamonds that range from 50 to 822 carats that have been found on that group of claims......time to start getting excited....
BTW...it was also stated at the AGM by Rory Moore that CNB was looking for a 15 million dollar deal....once Kennicott saw the information and chemistry and all the work Moore, Kaminsky, Innis and the rest had done on the Ontario property's they got offered 25 million to "get rid of the rest of them" ( the other 4 company's we were in negotiations with).........DD
