I prefer sites centred and 600 looks great on all sizes of monitors. I don't mind the white space at all. That's me. Also, I know we have to be courteous of 640x480 because of the long life of monitors, most people can upgrade computers 2 to 3 times before the monitor is replaced, although 17 inch monitors are dropping in price all the time and soon everyone, most everyone, will be running at least 800x600. I'm glad we agree on 600. But, I have a feeling SI won't change this though... One man's voice doesn't go far, unless others speak out as well. BTW A table with a border STILL directs your eye right to the message in the box: unicus.com In my opinion.
