IMO, Penquin over on ragingbull has raised a valid point about disclosure of the now infamous floorless convertibles. Without endorsing the combative tone of his post, I would be interested in your response to the following:

>>>Over on the S.I. thread, Brenda Greer has...stated that she/you [Jeff] put money into ABMI precisely in the belief that it would ward off ABMI having to do a floorless convertible deal (which everybody now realises is financial death). My question? When ABMI turned around and DID in fact do a floorless, why didn't you [Jeff]or Brenda come on the thread and broadcast what was happening, and explain what these things are? Jeff, you never did that. You continued to talk the stock up. The game only came to an end when I came on the thread and asked if there were floorless converts issued by this company and that I was looking to short it. Why did I have to do that, Jeff? Why wasn't it you that did that? Why didn't you do that? Why didn't Ms Greer?<<<
