Colin, from the lack of posts on this thread, I would guess nobody has any major complaints. I have had a Dreyfus account for a couple of years now, and would count myself in that camp. I just opened a Brown account myself, for more or less peripheral reasons, mostly in restrictive option order policies, e.g., no naked or spread positions entered via the web; you have to call a live broker. You can get the web commissions, but you have to shout about it. I think these things are a matter of personal trading styles, though. Spots
