Meathead-- I would love to hear your reaction and appraisal of the comments in the article from the economist cited in this post. Message 10369929 I am especially interested in your reaction to the possibility they raised that 1999 may have been a "peak year". It's very hard to believe this can actually be true-- that the PC industry is plain down hill from here. Your posts are always well reasoned and informed by common sense. Would be very glad to see you bring those characteristics to these remarks, as they seem to reflect the kind of thinking that is keeping dell stock in the deep freeze.
